Masaryka 282/57, 360 01 Karlovy Vary, Identification No (IČO): 49790765, registered in the Companies Register maintained by the Regional Court in Plzeň under file No. B 401 (hereinafter referred to as "JBKB").

The visitor center 'The Home of Becherovka' (hereinafter referred to as "NCB") is located at: T. G. Masaryka 282/57, 360 01 Karlovy Vary.

Visitors to the NCB, by entering the premises where the NCB is located, agree to these Visitor's Rules and undertake to comply with the following rules in addition to generally binding laws and regulations:

1. The NCB is open to visitors all year round according to the then valid opening hours, unless otherwise specified by the JBKB in a particular case.

2. Tours of the NCB and its exhibitions are only possible with an assigned guide as part of the tours organized by the JBKB. A separate tour of the NCB and its exhibitions with free movement of visitors is not possible. In the case of participation in a tour of the NCB and its exhibitions, the visitor is obliged to arrive at the specified time of the tour, otherwise he/she may not be allowed to enter the NCB exhibitions and take part in the tour.

3. The condition for access to the NCB and its exhibitions is the prior payment of a specified admission fee. Visitors must keep their valid ticket until they leave the building, so that they can present it upon request of the guide or other authorized person. In the case of group visits, the valid ticket is presented by the leader of the group of visitors. The admission fee is determined by the price list posted at the NCB ticket office and on the website at www.becherovka.com. The ticket is valid only for one visit to the NCB exhibition. JBKB recommends that visitors with a ticket purchased online (e-ticket) arrive at the NCB reception desk at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour, when, if necessary or desired, the valid e-ticket can be replaced free of charge for a valid paper ticket.

4. Persons under 18 years of age and other persons with limited legal capacity may visit the NCB exhibition only with the consent and under the permanent supervision of a legal guardian (e.g., a parent) or other accompanying person having full legal capacity over 18 years of age (e.g., a teacher). Persons under 18 years of age are allowed in the tasting room but will not be allowed to consume alcohol. In addition, alcohol is not served to pregnant women or drivers. The NCB exhibition is not suitable for children under 6 years of age and is therefore not recommended by JBKB.

5. Group visits to the NCB are permitted for groups of up to 55 people. In the case of group visits to JBKB, it is recommended to check in advance with the NCB staff about the capacity of the NCB on the expected date of the visit.

6. The NCB is wheelchair accessible if needed. A maximum of 1 person in a wheelchair can take part in one tour at the same time, so that in the event of an emergency (e.g., fire) it is possible to ensure the timely evacuation of people from the cellars and other areas of the NCB.

7. At the NCB, tours are provided only with an assigned guide in a predetermined language. Visitors who speak a different language can download the Smartguide app, which is available in 7 languages, to use the audio guide on their mobile device after purchasing a ticket; NCB staff can provide more information.

8. In the event of evacuation of persons from the NCB, the visitor is obliged to follow the "Evacuation Plan of the Building", which is posted in key locations of the NCB, as well as the instructions, if any, of responsible persons (in particular the electronic security alarm system staff).

9. Every person entering the NCB premises is obliged to follow the instructions of the authorized staff and to behave in such a way as to avoid damage to the premises and its equipment or any other damage or disturbance to other NCB visitors.

10. JBKB reserves the right to refuse to allow any person whose conduct is in violation of these Visitor's Rules or the applicable law, or whose conduct is found to be manifestly disorderly to enter the NCB, or such person will be asked to leave the premises of the NCB, without refund of the admission fee.

11. Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes are prohibited in the entire NCB area, as well as touching the exhibited items, with the exception of the interactive exhibits directly intended for this purpose; there is also a ban on the consumption of own food and alcohol, a ban on entering with fire and a ban on entering with weapons, explosive substances, flammable, psychotropic or toxic substances, sharp objects and other dangerous items that could cause damage to health or property or endanger the safety of persons.

12. Persons under the influence of alcohol or other addictive substances and persons in heavily soiled clothing are not allowed to enter the NCB.

13. It is also forbidden to enter the NCB premises with dogs and other animals, with the exception of guide and assistance dogs. It is forbidden to bring bulky luggage into the NCB. In addition, it is forbidden to enter the NCB premises with roller skates, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, children's balance bikes, etc.

14. Compliance with the conditions for admission to and stay on NCB premises shall be finally decided by the responsible NCB employee.

15. Photography and filming with a mobile phone or compact camera without a tripod is permitted throughout the NCB for private non-commercial purposes. When making recordings, the visitor is obliged not to disturb other visitors or the tour, and is obliged to move only in designated areas and not touch or enter the exhibits unless they are directly intended for such purpose.

16. The visitor acknowledges that a CCTV surveillance system is installed in the NCB premises to ensure the protection of JBKB property and to protect the health, property and safety of visitors, JBKB staff and other third parties.

17. In the event that an exhibit is out of order, it is marked accordingly and visitors are prohibited from tampering with it in any way.

18. Visitors are obliged to behave respectfully towards other visitors, i.e., in particular not to disturb them with inadequate noise or otherwise eccentric behavior, talking, use of mobile phones, players and other devices, etc. At the same time, visitors are asked not to interfere with the guide's presentation.

19. Every visitor is obliged to behave in such a way that he or she or another person is not in any danger from his or her actions. In addition, the visitor is obliged to immediately notify NCB staff of violations of these Visitor's Rules or situations posing risk to the property of JBKB, the health, property or safety of visitors, NCB staff, as well as other third parties.

20. It is forbidden to litter freely in the NCB, except for general waste in designated areas.

21. In accordance with and under the terms of the law, JBKB shall not be liable for damages caused by a visitor's violation of these Visitor's Rules. If a visitor causes damage by violating these rules, he or she is obliged to provide compensation for the damage according to generally binding laws and regulations.

These Visitor's Rules are valid and effective from 1 May 2024.
